Description
An abstracted ink painting of a bamboo grove and a small lodge, built from heavy, almost calligraphic strokes. The title recalls Wang Wei’s “Bamboo Lodge,” a classic image of literati reclusion, but Wu paints the scene as a modern void-image rather than a descriptive landscape. Gold-patterned silk mounts the work as a hanging scroll.
