Master Wu’s heart runs deep with yours; do not let sun and moon go empty in the red dust. Coming here, I gather the lone cloud; green peaks stand upright within the world. How could I bend my proud bones for soft fare and filial comforts? Fan Kuan’s household method, Hutou’s achievement—one body draped in wind and cloud, east and west. The world has no discerning eye; flowing on and on, with whom shall I be one? Dusty light meets my mind; in motion and stillness, I accord with tiger and dragon. From Fusang, slowly, the golden crow lifts its canopy; jade clouds roll like cotton, knowing breath and swallow; on the peak of a thousand autumns, a splendid countenance is cast.
